“So, this is my life. And I want you to know that I am both happy and sad and I'm still trying to figure out how that could be.” ― Stephen Chbosky
We must not expect happiness. It is not something we deserve. When life goes well, it is a sudden gift; it cannot last forever.

La sua filosofia di vita

era che poteva morire da un momento all'altro; la tragedia, diceva, era che non succedeva.

Tu sarai amato

il giorno in cui potrai mostrare la tua debolezza senza che l'altro se ne serva per affermare la sua forza.

To love is to suffer.

To avoid suffering one must not love. But then one suffers from not loving. Therefore, to love is to suffer; not to love is to suffer; to suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love. To be happy, then, is to suffer, but suffering makes one unhappy. Therefore, to be happy one must love or love to suffer or suffer from too much happiness.

Woody Allen

L’intimità e i giorni passati insieme restano lì, appesi all’esile filo del ricordo.
Senza pudore; Helen Walsh.

Why move to Miami.

1. Miami averages over 250 days of sunshine. Just saying that out loud has got to make you feel happy. Try it!

2. Miami has the cleanest air and drinking water out of all 50 states. If you want to live a long and healthy life, it doesn't get more fundamental than clean air and clean water. That natural source of water is located 15 feet below and is called the Biscayne Aquifer.

3. Miami has never had a "single digit" or "triple digit" temperature ever recorded. Fyi, the coldest day was 27º f / Warmest day was 98º f. If you're coming from the north, it's highly likely you can say goodbye to subzero temperatures forever! (Not sure if true).

4. Miami Beach’s Art Deco District contains the world’s largest collection of Art Deco Architecture, over 800 buildings. In case you're not familiar, Art Deco buildings are cool. Google it and see for yourself.

5. Like to hike? Remember to bring your boots. Miami happens to be the only city in the U.S. that is bordered by two national parks, the Biscayne and Everglades national parks.

6. Miami ranks third in city skylines behind New York and Chicago. You get all the beautiful and majestic cityscape of NYC and Chi-town without the freezing cold and polluted air.

7. Miami installed the first bank automated teller machine especially for rollerbladers. How cool is that?

8. Miami has had only one snowfall on Jan 19, 1977. If you've ever said to yourself, 'I don't care if I ever see another snowflake again', Miami could be your new favorite city to move to.

9. If you do love the snow, you'll enjoy the fact that Miami Beach is home to one of the largest snow skiing clubs in the United States. The Miami Ski Club was founded in 1968 to promote the sport of snow skiing and to have fun year round.

10. Miami is the Wreck Diving Capital of the World, containing over 50 wreck sites — such as old ships, oil platforms, army tanks and the Spirit of Miami Boeing 727 jet-- sunken to provide artificial reefs for marine life.
